Cairn Cross Civil Engineering Ltd carry out a variety of rail contracts ranging from bridge replacement works to rail maintenance depot works.

Bridge replacement contracts require in depth programming starting many months prior to works commencing on site to ensure critical path activities are completed in time for short duration rail possessions. Cairn Cross Civil Engineering work closely with our customers by early involvement in bridge projects and we develop programmes to

illustrate that works to be carried out on possession schedules are achievable and durations are realistic. Our workforce is experienced in bridge replacement work and appreciate the challenges required to integrate our works within the rail environment.

We carry out construction work in rail depots and our workforce incorporate our works with the minimum of disruption within the day to operations of the many depots we work on throughout the UK.
