The Challenge

The scheme involved the removal of the old Lathe, demolition of the concrete foundations and significant re-modelling of the structure within the existing building.

The new Lathe pit is 8.3 metres long, 7 metres wide and 4 metres deep. A new section of the concrete floor was required within the building spanning 50 metres.

The Solution

The first stage of the project was the removal of the current wheel lathe, which would be used in a different depot facility. The existing pit was demolished and replaced with a new, more supportive concrete base pit. The new Hegenscheidt CNC wheel lathe was lowered into place by a Megalift system and finalised by associated mechanical and electrical works.

The Result

The scheme was handed back to the operator (East Coast) 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

I am trying to make a careers page where we feature current vacancies. Which template block would you recommend for this option? At the moment, I am Floating between a table and the dropdown. - I'd suggest the Cards module (it's still going through a bit of styling ) or accordion perhaps depending on the amount of text you'll include as a description for each vacancy. I wouldn't use the table as it's not easy to include links.Testimonials are not pulling through currently. - Will get this fixed. When writing a project, it only gives me the option of Rail or Highway for the sector. -There should be a menu link under Projects in the CMS to add new sectors. I'm not sure why this isn't showing, will get this fixed.I’ve added the social media links to the WordPress settings though these do not appear on the site. Where can we have social media icons in the footer? - Yes, we'll get this updated.
