The Challenge
The client, Nexus, identified a requirement for the existing train wash to be replaced by a new facility. This new facility needed to include an environmentally friendly water recovery system.
The Solution
Firstly the existing train wash was removed and safely disposed of. Next, modifications were made to the existing concrete base to suit the new installation. Finally, a new train wash facility was provisioned and installed. This new facility included a water recovery system comprising a clean water holding tank, a two-stage interceptor and an associated plant room.
The Result
Delivered within a tight budget and deadline, the new carriage wash offers Nexus an up-to-date carriage wash facility with sound environmental credentials.
