As part of the Tingley Mills Residential Phase One redevelopment, Cairn Cross supplied various groundworks, drainage, storm attenuation and S278 surfacing works.
The Challenge
Civils work to convert the premises into luxury flats included the groundworks, drainage, storm attenuation and surfacing works at the Tingley Mills Development.
The Solution
S278 works included relocating the interactive bus stop on Bridge Street, constructing a retaining wall surrounding the plot, road markings and associated kerb and tactile paving.
The soft and hard landscaping was carried out, including gullies, kerbing, car park, surfacing, block paving, and landscaping completed the compounds usability and establishing the luxury appeal.
The Result
The Tingley Mills Phase 1 Residential Redevelopment was completed in February 2020. An upgraded car-park and entrance leads to a luxury complex of residential flats.
