Accountabilities

  • Set up DropBox folders
  • Data Entry
  • Update registers
  • Meeting Records
  • Document control
  • Libraries
  • Fill out standard tender requirements
  • Travelling and attending site visits
  • Material take off of quants
  • Preparation of programme of works
  • Tender pricing
  • Scope of works writing & formalising
  • Formalising sub contract enquires
  • Analysing sub contract quotes and incorporating them into tender pricing documents
  • Obtaining plant and material quotations
  • Reviewing tender documents & preparing detailed tender submissions to a high standard
  • Communicating and commenting on special contract terms and conditions
  • Developing detailed knowledge of supply chain and building relationships with the same
  • Attending post tender submission client liaison
  • Attending hand over meetings to contracts and commercial
  • Efficiently and accurately managing estimating rates library
  • Integrating any company/industry innovations into the tender pricing to drive best value
  • Attending post contract lessons learned meetings and comparing estimates with actual work costs

The Person

  • Computer literate and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be a hardworking individual who is willing to learn
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication
  • Some experience in the industry at some level would be beneficial
  • Should be able to focus on attention to detail
  • Must be able to manage their time efficiently

The Specifics

  • Location: Morley, Leeds and hybrid of home working where applicable
  • Hours: 08:00am – 17:00pm
  • Contract: Full-time/Permanent
  • Salary: Competitive based on experience
