Due to or continued growth and also a growing order book, Cairn Cross is looking for ambitious Quantity Surveyors to join our team and begin or further their careers in the civil engineering industry.

We have a number of live vacanices across both our work winning Tendering Team, as well as our project delivery Commercial Team.

• Tender team QS
• Sub Contractors enquires and quote comparisons
• Produce TQ’s
• Pricing tenders and supporting bid submissions
• Check contract terms
• Assist with SOW
• Assist with Programmes
• Fill out tender specific PQQ’s
• Take off & bill of Materials
• Estimating rates of library updates
• Data Entry
• Client project communications

• Commerical team QS
• Project commercial management
• Project variation management
• Project cost management
• Project sub-contract commercial management
• Project monthly valuations
• Project sub-contract valuations
• Project contract control
• Project budget and forecasting
• Data Entry
• Client project communications

The Person

• Ideally, have a minimum of three years of experience in the industry
• Holds or working towards a professional qualification
• Computer literate and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• Must be a hardworking individual who is willing to learn
• Must have effective written and verbal communication
• Should be able to focus on attention to detail
• Must be able to manage their time efficiently

The Specifics

• Location: Morley, Leeds (with national travel) / Hybrid working available.
• Hours: 08:00am – 17:00pm
• Contract: Full-time/Permanent
• Salary: Competitive based on experience
