A Year of Growth, Achievement, and Community Impact (2024)
As 2024 draws to a close, Cairn Cross reflects on a year marked by significant achievements, new partnerships, and a continued commitment to excellence in the rail and construction sectors. From securing major projects and achieving industry accreditations to engaging with the community, this year has been one of substantial progress and growth.

Industry Recognition and Operational Excellence
Cairn Cross demonstrated its commitment to best practices in fleet management by achieving the prestigious FORS Bronze accreditation. This accomplishment underscores our dedication to safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility across our fleet of over 30 vans and company cars.
As Waheed Oluwasegun, Compliance Manager explains, ” This is an excellent achievement that demonstrates our commitment to working at the highest health and safety standards. We recently updated and implemented a new integrated management system to streamline and increase efficiency in our work practices. Completing the audit has been a testament to everyone in the business who has made this a success.”
Danny Watts, Procurement and Asset Manager and new FORS Fleet Manager explains that “FORS, a prestigious industry-recognized program, serves as a benchmark for excellence in fleet management. By adhering to its rigorous standards, Cairn Cross goes beyond mere compliance, actively promoting best practices across its fleet of over [30] vans and company cars.”
Since the implementation of the accreditation, we have developed our internal digitalisation system streamlining safety checks and further complimenting our commitment to FORS. Learn more about our FORS accreditation here.
